They call it the M House — short for the homeowners' names, Geert Martens and Ray Murray, and their weekend Mattituck residence, out in the North Fork of Long Island. Geert and Ray happened on the idea for their indoor / outdoor house while vacationing in St. Bart's where they met their architect-to-be, Bill Bialosky. With Bialosky, they brought all the comforts of home outside — and even worked against the cold with an outdoor fireplace. Now they feel like they're on vacation almost all year long.
